A scale model of the boat

It measures 9m x 3m and at it’s maximum is about 1m high. It has been designed and built locally especially for this year’s World Heritage Festival using local materials and involving 164 young people from across the Borough of Telford and Wrekin in the design concept. Through a series of workshops young people from the age of seven to 19 have also learned about world heritage and the significance of the Ironbridge Gorge site on the world stage.
