Over the weekly sessions the group of 13 young people grew in confidence, and learnt practical skills such as using digital cameras, Apple Mac computers and sound recording equipment.
They created their own storylines, and worked as a team as the group had seven animations being developed at the same time.
All the young people produced at least one animated film coming up with the story, building the set, filming and adding the sound.
The project was a direct result of consultation which means that young people shaped the project as they wished with the guidance of their youth worker and the cultural practitioner.
It gave them a chance to enjoy and achieve as they were all signed up to the North Somerset Award.
Each young person will receive a DVD with their own and everyone else’s film.
